describe the net flow of blood between the circulatory and pulmonary system?
Blood circulation starts at heart when left ventricle contract and pumps oxygenated blood into the arteries to the capillaries in the tissues of the body. From the capillaries, the deoxygenated blood returns through a system of veins to the right atrium of the heart (systemic circulation). Once on the heart again the deoxygenated blood is pumped from the right ventricle of the heart, to the lungs where delivers de CO2 and returns oxygenated blood to the left atrium and ventricle of the heart (pulmonary circulation) where the cycle can begins again
