Answer #1

Answer - a) 47

Reason- Klinefelter Syndrome is a disorder where the individual has two X chromosomes and one Y chromosome. The individual gets this by nondisjunction i.e. a pair of sex chromosomes fails to separate during egg or sperm formation & when this egg or sperm with an extra X chromosome fertilizes with a normal sperm or egg, it's results in a single extra copy of X-chromosome. Thus resulting in total number of 47 chromosomes. An individual with this syndrome often have characteristics of both male and female.
