Compare and contrast F factor-mediated conjugation with F' factor-mediated conjugation.
In F factor mediated conjugation the whole F factor is transferred to the recipient from the host. But in case of F' mediated conjugation the F factor is not properly transferred from the host chromosome and some of the F factor is still left in the host chromosome and this results in incomplete F factor transfer.
In F factor mediated conjugation no host genes are transferred. But in case of F' mediated conjugation some of the host genes are transferred.
