1. photosystem2 is the 1st membrane protein complex, it absorbs 680 nm light. it produces atmospheric oxygen to catalyze the photo-oxidation of water by using light energy. it oxidized two molecules of water into one molecule of molecular oxygen. This oxidation of water help to create proton gradient but if ps 2 is absent then it is unable to produce NADPH that's why proton can't jump and ATP will not produce.
2. in case of 2nd scenario if ps 2 is absent then water does not split so, there is no oxidation of water occur, but if the wavelength increase, thus the only atp will produce.
