a) they will bite and trash the predator when get caught. propelling through water when threatened by predators.

b) the bitter taste of broccoli that helps to maintain poisonous effect against other organisms. mainly insects are avoided by these bitter taste. secondary compounds helps to defend against predators.

c) a neurotoxin called maculotoxin is used against predators. They can squirt black ink into the water. this allow te octopus escape.

d) by broken - winged display, it is usually run from the nest. lightly Coloured materials such as pebbles, shells etc... are added to the nest.

e) they are sticking their tongues out. they disconnect entire tail and the tail is brightly Coloured and twitches . this distracts the predators.
