Answer #1

Answer 1.

Effects of various pathogens :-

Pathogens challenge immune system in many ways. Viruses make us sick by killing cells or disrupting cell function. Many bacteria make us sick in the same way that viruses do, but they also have other strategies at their disposal. Sometimes bacteria multiply so rapidly they crowd out host tissues and disrupt normal function. Sometimes they kill cells and tissues outright. For example, virus causes AIDS and bacteria causes tuberculosis etc.

Immune system as barrier :-

The immune system protects the body from possibly harmful substances by recognizing and responding to antigens. White blood cells travel in your bloodstream and react to different types of infection caused by bacteria viruses or other pathogens.
