The correct option is : C

Lowering of temperature.

It is because when the temperature is lowered the hydrogen bonds formed between the complementary bases get stabilized as we know that increase in temperature decreases the bond strength.

Hydrogen bond being weak non covalent interaction is sensitive to temperature.

Other options are incorrect because increasing nthe salt concentration not helps in anealing but in denaturation of the DNA.

Formamide also decreases the stability of double stranded DNA hence it will also decrease chances of anealing.
