Besides T2DM and asthma,  there are claims that C-sections increase the risk of obesity. Explain why it is hard to conclude any of these things from epidemiology. (Specifically, what maternal conditions might co-occur with C-section delivery and also pose a risk for these conditions?

According to epidemiological data Global rates of c- section deliveries are continuously growing. In the usa ratr of c-section is nearly 33% which means one out of 3 women has c-section deliveries. In 2012, approximately 23 million c-sections were done globally So the continuously and rapidly increasing rate of caesareans hide the risks of all of above mention diseases.

Chances of wound infection, incisional hernias, postoperative adhesions, blood loss can pose a risk of these conditions.
