at the age of 20 and 30, we reaches peak bone mass. During this time our bones will be having maximum strength and density. if we are having greater r peak bone mass then we have high protection against developing osteoporosis and can be prevented, if the person is having lower bone mass density he will develop osteoporosis a result bone gets fractured at the early stage of the life because of the loss of bone mass

the factors that influence peak bone mass are due to

eating disorder, childhood diseases such as neuromuscular, neoplastic, etc

there are also other factors like environmental factors such as exercise , nutrition, and disease causes 20 % of  peak bone mass

aerobatic activities like walking have less benefit for building the strength of the bones eg playing soccer etc
