Explain the difference between simple and complex media for growing bacteria.

ANS- Cultural medium refers to the medium that supports the growth of bacteria or other microorganisms by providing them proper nutrients required for its growth, it is also known as growth medium.

DEFINITION	It is the agar medium composed of nutrients and some chemicals that supports the growth of the growing bacteria. Its composition is known.	It is the type of culture media that comprises of an unknown chemical composition.it is also known as undefined media or rich media.
COMPOSITION OF MEDIUM	It comprises of agar with nutrient broth, NB with meat extract or NaCl, NB mix with 2% agar= nutrient medium.	It comprises of complex materials of biological origins example- milk, yeast, blood, beef etc.
EXAMPLES	Example- Trypticase soy broth. Nutrient broth.	Example-Nutrient agar or broth Blood agar Tryptic soy broth
