How do you think the nature of the genetic code dictates which amino acids will be incorporated in response to the mRNA?
Genetic codes are the consecutive nucleotide sequence, present on the mRNA (messenger RNA). On mRNA three consecutive bases are known as codon, which specifies to a particular amino acid at the time of the translation process. The amino acids are supplied by the tRNA (transfer RNA). tRNA has special sequence known as anticodon or nodoc which is complementary to the codon. Suppose AUG codon is present on the mRNA, so UAC anticodon (nodoc) is also present on tRNA, which specifies methionine.
