Please explain why or why not. If not, do you consider yourself at risk now? Why or why not.
HIV (Human immunodeficiency virus) is a causative agent of a dreadful sexually transmitted disease (STD) called AIDS (Acquired immunodeficiency syndrome). The transmission of HIV mainly occurs due to sexual contact with infected persons and contact with bodily fluids, like vaginal secretions, blood, semen and human milk, etc.
I did never consider myself at risk for HIV/AIDS prior to taking this class because did not go through unsafe blood transfusions and had no other means of contact with the other pesronsthat are at risk of HIV or diagnnosed with HIV.
