- Yes we need to preserve biodiversity in natural habitats or in
other words, in-situ conservation is important.
Natural habitat allows species to live in the environment to
which they are adapted and to maintain their natural position in
the food chain. Thus this also saves endangered animals from
extinction.
- By afforestation, ecology of an environment can be restored
through adequate nutrient usage and by providing habitats and
niches to many organisms. Locations of critical wildlife habitat
for species at risk and the threats to the areas should be
identified. Eventually these threats should be eradicated and
natural areas should be maintained. Critical wildlife habitat
(nesting and denning sites) should be protected but left
undisturbed. These are the concrete plans to preserve
ecosystem.
