ANSWER: The physiological process occuring within bone is hematopoiesis. It occurs within the bone marrow of the bone and leads to the formation of Red Blood Cells, White blood cells, and Platelets. The medulla of the bone( bone marrow) contains hematopoietic stem cells which gives rise to different types of mature blood cells. The mature blood cells comes out in blood and has a limited life span and therefore this hematopoiesis continues and cells are replaced constantly.
