Ans . Silent Mutation :- These are mutations in DNA that do not have an observable effect on the organism's phenotype. They are a specific type of neutral mutation.

Silent Mutations are base substitutions that result in no change of the amino acid or amino acid functionality when the altered mRNA are translated.

A gene that has remained essentially unchanged throughout evolution. Conservation of gene indicates that it is unique and essential.There is not an extra copy of that gene with which evolution can tinker, and changes in the gene are likely to be lethal.

Protein function and folding is dependent on the position in which the stop codon was inserted and the amount and composition of the sequence lost.
