(3) HIV virus hides from the immune system in two ways. What are these two methods of disguising itself?

Answer #1

The HIV virus makes the Nev protein which binds to the cells that present virus to the cytotoxic system so the immune cells gets fooled and they think the HIV viruses are the part of the normal junk system so they does not degrade the virus

The second manner is the HIV attacks the serum proteins which takes part in variety of immune reactions like antigen antibody complement. They attack these complement proteins and the body is not able to recognise these viruses because of this.

Consider how HIV infects cells and reproduces. Also consider how the immune system fights HIV infection. Humans differ by having mutations that result in slightly different proteins and immune function. Suggest as many hypotheses as possible to explain why some individuals might be protected against HIV infection. In other words, where and how might new viral infections be stopped? What could be different about the people who seem protected against HIV that caused viral replication to stop? Come up with...
