How does our body disrupt bacterial enzymes that kill the bacteria on the food we eat?
What are the three methods on why they inactive the enzymes
ANS. Bacteria are the microorganisms which are unicellular ,prokaryotic containing only cytoplasm , circular strand of DNA ,cell membrane and cell wall.Like all other microbes these can also useful and harmful for mankind. We eat certain kinds of bacteria that is present on our food that we consume and these bacterias are killed inside our body by our natural system. The saliva produced in our buccal cavity wash bacteria into the stomach and our stomach produce hydrochloric acid which kill those bacteria by disrupting their cell and not allowing the synthesis of peptidoglycan but some bacteria are resistant to this acid like Helicobacter Pylori.Antibiotics ,heating and unfavourable conditions can also result in the inactivation of the enzymes needed for their cell wall synthesis.
