After talking about butterflies life cycle to kentergardens how do I link the topic to teach college students?

The level of information that should be provided between kindergarten and college students is very different as kindergarten students require the most basic things for butterfly life cycle. In order to teach college student you have to teach them everything about transition between egg to larva, larva to pupa and pupa to adult. Also the goal of each phase should be included and of possible, videos and photos of butterfly life cycle should also be included in topic for the better understanding of the topic.
