Why do trees store CO2 more efficiently than smaller shrubs and grasses?

Answer #1

Please give a thumbs up.
The trees are more efficient in storing the carbon dioxide then small plants and grass.
This is mainly because the trees consume more carbon dioxide compared to small plants in the first place. After using the received carbon dioxide for photosynthesis and other processes this gas is stored by converting it into plant matter. this gas, as plant matter, is stored in wooden branches and trunk in the trees which are massive in size. whereas in small plants it is only stored in leaves and tender branches.
So simply putting it trees have a large body to take and store sufficient carbon-dioxide efficiently whereas grass and small plants do not.

Why is the relative size of the yolk sac in a mammal egg much smaller than that found in an amniotic egg? The yolk sac is relatively smaller in the mammal because its function in an amniotic egg (source of nutrients) has been taken over by the placenta. Amniotic eggs require larger yolk sacs to support longer maturation times compared to mammal eggs that develop more quickly. The embryos of animals with amniotic eggs like reptiles are larger than the...
