Hence the hospital personnel should fumigate the wards once a week or once a month to reduce the incidence of spread of these pathogens in the hospital. Fumigation is done by using formaldehyde or other chemical compounds that easily penetrate the microbes and kill them. This method is the most efficient method for the eradication of infectious organisms in hospital wards. Another hygenic method is the sterilisation of the lab coats periodically and also cleaning of surfaces with detergents will reduce the pathogenic spread.
