The Holocene is the time period which started 12,000 years ago (time period when agriculture was wildely practised) and persist still. It succeeded the Last Ice age. the meltdown of the ice and the presence of warm temperature may have lead to the begining of agrculture during the Neolithic age. Following which humans started settling down and bulit permanent homes.

The other reasons such as increase in human population and melting of ice sheets also support the reason for Agriculture revolution.
