# In the alveoli partial pressure of O2 is 100 mmHg and partial pressure of CO2 is 40 mmHg.

Due to the highest pO2 of oxygen, carbodixide from blood will be released into the alveloi and oxygen will be taken up by the RBC and plasma.

Due to the increased amount of CO2 in tissues, pCO2 is increased in the capillaries. This lead to the incraesed production of H+ ions in the tissue. Increased acidity and partial pressure of CO2 will lead to the release of oxygen into the tissue and take up the CO2 back to the alveoli.
