Examine the overall structure of the provided frog brain and sheep brain videos and photos. What are some of obvious differences between the two? Now look for more subtle differences. Do these brains have the same structures? You will need to refer to the anatomy figure son the next two pages to determine this. Take notes on the largest structural differences and similarities between the two brains
Frog brain is much more smaller then sheep brain and also elongated in nature.Sheep brain is very nicely differentiated into cerebrum, corpus callotum, ventricle, super colliculus, cerebellum, thallamus etc where as frog brain in very simple in structure, it has only medulla, cerebellus , pineal body etc. frog brain has diencephalon where as sheep brain doesnt have it. Frog brain jusr has an optic lobe, but sheep brain optic chiasma. In comparison sheep brain is much more developed and similar to human brains then a frog brain. The structure of the two brains is not atall similar as i mentioned before.
