In the summer, they produce extreme floral displays in order to attract pollinators, since the summers are short and the reproductive window is small. Discuss these strategies from the point of view of Grime’s C-S-R model.

Grime's C S R model describes about the condition in which a organism live and strategies of adaptation. C means competitors those survive in stable environment by establishing large individual and vegetative growths. S means stress tolerant in which individual survive in variable, unfavorable and resources poor environment. Their growth is slower. R means ruderalism when the individual invest energy on propagating and generating new individual.

So in given example first case represents the S strategy in which plant survive in harsh unfavorable condition but when summer comes plant invest all of its energy in reproduction then it is R strategy..
