Advantages of corn ethanol

1- Biodegradable in nature:- The corn ethanol is produced using organic, renewable sources hence it is biodegradable in nature.

2- Low greenhouse emission:- The GHG emission has been reduced significantly due to the use of corn ethanol.

3- comparatively more eco friendly than gasoline having significant environmental benefits.

Disadvantages of corn ethanol.

1-Efficiency is not satisfactory.

2-Storage and transportation of corn ethanol is a concern.

3- Second generation biofuel:- corn is an edible food product so if it is used to bioethanol production than it affects agriculture and food production.
