Identify all of the metabolic processes that are anaerobic.

Identify all of the metabolic processes that are anaerobic.

Homework Answers

Answer #1

fermentation is one of the metabolic process which is anerobic and takes place in the body, during sternous exercise , the demand of oxygen in the body increases, but the oxygen supply remain insufficient, which makes the body to undergo respiration anerobically, resulting into production of lactic acid in the muscles, leaidng to cramp. hence, fermentation is one of the metabolic process. there are other also, like facultative anaerobic process and cosntitutive anerobic process. these are generally the metabolic pahtways which can be seen in microbes.

A person's body is producing energy internally due to metabolic processes. If the body loses more energy than metabolic processes are generating, its temperature will drop. If the drop is severe, it can be life-threatening. Suppose a person is unclothed and energy is being lost via radiation from a body surface area of 1.24 m2, which has a temperature of 34 °C and an emissivity of 0.582. Suppose that metabolic processes are producing energy at a rate of 105 J/s....
