trace the blood flow from the right side of the face to the left thumb

Homework Answers

Answer #1

The blood from the right side of the face is carried from the right carotid artery and then is supplied down to the vertebral, which further divides into right subclavian and bracheiocephalic trunk.

the right subclavin carries the blod further into the right arm and then divides into brachial near the arm joint,or near elbow, from here , this artery further divides into radial and ulnar, from here the blood to the thumb is carried in the radial one and is then transferred into common digital artery and ulnar artery, these further divide up into capillaries and thus later on connect with veins. this is how blood is tranferrred from the right side of the face to the thumb of hand
