How is the protein titin used in tissue engeneering? describe how with an example for a Powerpoint Slide

Homework Answers

Answer #1

Ans. The protein titin makes the muscle the most versatile tissue they are. Protein titin imparts elasticity to the muscles. Tissue engineering has led to the development of a more elastic tissue developed as compared to titin. The biomaterial which has been prepared and based on artificial titin imparts high resilience at low strain. The protein titin also regulates the length of striated muscles thick filament, which is widely employed by tissue engineers for developing biomaterials with a longer durability and elasticity.
