1.Thyroid hormone stimulates diverse metabolic activities in most of the tissue, leads to increase in basal metabolic rate. Result is the increase in body heat production due to increased oxygen consumption and ATP hydrolysis .Thyroid hormone help your body burn fat providing more energy, increases BMR which means burning fat even you are not physically active. Thyroid hormone also impact carbohydrates metabolism.

b)During high fever blood vessels in the skin gets dilated ,allowing more blood to flow near the skin
