Ans. Any of the medical word or medical terminology is composed of the prefix, root word, and suffix. Medical terminology is used to precisely describe the human body components, illness, pathways, medical procedure and pharmacology.

Prefix : It is placed at the begining of the word to modify or change its meaning, here "Pre" means before and can indicate number, location or time.

Root word : Centre of the word or the body of the word.

Suffix : The end part of the word which modifies the meaning of the word.

Example: Abnormal
