(True/False) Proteins need to be in a controlled environment that is similar to that which they came from. By lowering the temperature of the environment you can speed up the rate of all chemical reactions that are occurring in that mixture, therefore speeding up proteolysis and the rate of degradation.

Proteolysis: The proteins when start to degrade or the hydrolysis of the peptide bonds starts is called proteolysis pr protein degredation.

The protein and other enzymes in our body works at an optimum temperature but when the temperature increase or decrease.So they must be stored in very low temperature neither the protein will start to deegrade or proteolysis will start to occur.Generally the proteeins are stored in < 4 degree celcius temperature.

So the above statement in the question is- False.
