Explanation : The concept of the biomes do not include the oceans while the habitats in ocean is similarly being delineated as that in biomes on land .

Biomes are the community of plants and animals which have common characteristics for the environment they dwell in. They occur over wide areas and have characteristic climate based on the biome. Example : tundra region has cold climate while desert have hot and dry climate. They include terrestrial communities. Therefore , all the options are characteristics of biome except the option b which says , they are oceanic habitats.
