* Considering the population in HWE. Therefore. (p+ q) 2  = 1.     Taking square root on both sides.     p + q = 1. Therefore   p = 1- q p = 1- 0.69 = 0.31 (allele frequency of dominant allele) .

a.) Genotypic frequency of Homozygous recessive = q 2 * Total population. = (0.69) 2  *  1000 = 476.1.

* Genotypic Frequency of Honozygous dominant = p2  * 1000. = (0.31)2  * 1000 = 96.1    * Genotypic  Frequency of hetreozygous =   2 p q * Total = 2 * 0.69 * 0.31 * 1000 = 427.8
