Atherosclerosis is a type of artery disease. Artery carries fresh oxygenated blood to different parts of the body. When fat or cholesterol piles up in the artery , it restricts the flow of blood through artery. This situation is known as Atherosclerosis.

People with high blood sugar, excess fat, smokers , drinkers may develop this disease. Usually untill it blocks the artery totally there are no symptoms . But a few early indicators may be considered such as

1. Pain in chest --- happen when the artery thats leaves heart get plaque

2. Pain in both hand--- the artery that provides blood to the hand cell , block and pain starts and weakness of hand can be felled . As same in leg also.

3. Fatigue and shortness of breath

4. Confusion due to reduce supply of blood to brain for artery blockage.

5. High cholesterol level in blood which may pile up in artery.
