Heat stroke is a severe heat illness that occurs when body temperature rises above 40°C.it affect multiple systems in body.and the main system affected is central nervous system. Symptoms of heat stroke include headache,dizziness, nausea, vomiting, lightheadedness,etc.these symptoms are mainly due to CNS effects. Central nervous system is especially sensitive to hyperthermia. In CNS there occurs widespread cell death maninly in purkinje cells of cerebellum.
