Evolution is a gradual development in which explains that each organism has developed from the past organisms . The 3 main types of evolution are divergent , convergent and parallel evolution

Populations evolve but individuals do not because genes in the individual are same and these genes do not change over time but in population which means group of individuals where different genes are present in different individuals . We know that evolution is the genotypic or phenotypic change in a population which makes the population survive in that environment which makes the population to evolve but individual cannot evolve
