Briefly describe the following reactions: condensation, hydrolysis, oxidation-reduction.
Condensation reaction - a type of organic reaction in which two molecules combine to form a larger molecule and water or some other simple molecule is eliminated. This reaction generally happens in presence of a catalyst.
Hydrolysis reaction - is a type of chemical reaction in which a box of a compound is broken with the help of a water molecule. In this reaction a water molecule is inserted across the covalent bond which results in a break in the compound.
Oxidation - reduction reaction - in these chemical reaction there occurs a change in the oxidation number by losing our gaining of electron of a molecule, ion or an atom.
