  1. a. Pre-zygotic barrier- in this method fertilization do not take place or fertilization get prevented. Thus in prezygotic behaviour, sperm and ovum get inhibited to form the zygote. Prezygotic isolation can be of different types. Such as-

habitat- when the organisms are living at different places and can not meet.

Bevioural- sometimes specied differ in theit mating preferences and rituals.

Temporal- when idividuals go for mating at different timepoint of a year.

b. On the other hand in postzygotic barrier inhibits the viability of the zygote. by loosing hybrid viability and producing inferile hybride In the course of postzygotic behaviour the hybtid produced not viable on nature or the zygote can not grow properly.
