Australopithecus and even chimpanzees (chimps) shares almost the same characteristics of encephalization with humans. These comes under hominids. Hominids are a primate family that includes humans and their fossil ancestors and also at least some of the great apes, chimpanzees, gorillas, etc. By observing some aspects such as locomotional behavioural changes, social and ecological analysis, relative brain size and diet. The primates have evolved key differences that can be related to diet and lifestyles directly, such as slower growth rate, a reduction in litter size, and producing larger offspring that live longer compared with other mammals.
