Climate changes i.e increase sea levels, rain patterns alteration, drought, and ocean acidification are threaten to degrade estuaries.an estuary feel the impact of both a decrease water levels caused by a climate related drought and also by climate induced changes in ocean currents Rising sea levels will move ocean and estuarine shorelines by inundating lowlands, displacing wetlands, and altering the tidal range in rivers and bays.. since estuaries lie at the interface of terrestrial and marine environments.
