the condition that develops due to pancreatic tumor products and increases the blood coagulability?

Homework Answers

Answer #1

The pancreatic tumors tend to produce products that increase the coagulation in blood. This hypercoagubility is due to the microvesicles that are generated by the pancreatic tumor and it also increases the platelet activation. Mostly these clots are formed in the leg and this condition of increased blood coagubility is called as thrombosis. If clots are formed in the leg then this is called as Deep vein thrombosis.
