Describe a strategy you develop for tree harvest that would ease the difficulty and expense of reforestation projects by retaining viable communities of mycorrhizal fungi.
Plants and mycorrhizal fungi are in a symbiotic relationship. The mycorrhizae obtain nutrition in the form of sugars from the plants and they help in absorption of water and nitrogen from the soil to be used up by plants.
This symbiotic relationship between fungi and plants can be pur to effective use in reforestation strategies. The roots of the plants to be planted should be soaked in a fungal mixture which is commonly called as shroom juice. Then, the saplings are planted. By this way, the planted saplings are able to survive even in the adverse environmental conditions and the reforestation strategy may become a great success.
