Answer #1

Fish have only one atrium, one ventricle and single blood flow. The atrium extract blood that has returned from the body and the ventricle pumps the blood to ths fishes gills where gas exchange take place and the blood is reoxidizes. This is called fishes gills ciculation. Then the blood continue through the rest of the body before enter back at the atrium and this is called systemic circulation. This blood flow is unidirectional and produces a gradient of oxygeneted to deoxygeneted blood around the fish's systemic circulatory circuit. The amount of oxygen that can reach to the tissue and organ of the body of fish. reducing the overall metabolic capacity of fish.
