Ans- They form ulcers and scab mean genital herpes. Herpes simplex virus is DNA virus. Incubation period for HSV1 and HSV 2 is the same 2 to 12 days. For most people ,the symptoms begin to show up in about 3 to 6 days. Pathogenesis It is caused by herpes simplex virus. Herpes is easily spread from skin to skin contact with someone who has the virus. Usually during oral, anal and vaginal sex. Virus must contact with mucosal surface or abraded skin, with replication at the site of primary infection. Vaccine - There is no vaccine to prevent HSV infection.
