= 1200 uL
To account for 20% loss of reagent to plastics, we need to compensate it by adding 20% extra GoTaq Master Mix.
So 20% of 1200 uL = (20/100) x 1200
= 0.2 x 1200
= 240 uL
Therefore, actual amount of GoTaq Master Mix required for 96 wells is given by
Initial Amount + Lost Amount
= 1200 + 240
= 1440 uL
So 1440 uL of GoTaq Master Mix will be required for PCR reaction.
