this involves Eco toxicology and use a Tier 1 type of approach to assess the risk. Estimated environmental concentrations will be calculated based on 100% and 10% of the application rate (full overspray and 10% spray drift). ) Application rate is 11.2083 ug/Cm^2 but i cannot find how to calculate these EEC anywhere at all please if anyone can show a step by step that would be crazy awesome

Estimated environmental concentration (PEC/EEC) is predicted or estimated concentration of active ingredient of pesticide in an ecosystem or environmental compartment. There is no single or specific methodology for determining the environmental behaviour of chemicals.

One can use following formula to calculate first tier PEC/EEC calculation :

Where,

Dose = applied dose / hectare (active ingrdient % of pesticide )

No. of applications = Highest no of application during crop cycle

Drift % = % of pesticide dose to 1 m² of soil which deposits on 1m² of surface water
