The statement is false.
Inflammatory mediators like prostaglandin, leukotriens, IL1, TNF-alpha, IL 2, IL 4 etc are also known as vasoactive mediators. These are secreted by mast cells when IgE binds to the receptors present in mast cells. Mast cells also secrete histamine. These vasoactive mediators cause inflammation of tissue and also cause recruitment of macrophages, neutrophils to the inflamed tissue. Macrophages, neutrophils also secrete different cytokines which cause mast cells to degranulate further. This is a type of positive response.
