Answer #1

What were the reasons a national Committee on the Endangered Wildlife in Canada was established and what are the general principles of COSEWIC?

This was established for assessment of the status of the different species, especially the ones that are though to be at risk and on the verge of extinction in Canada. This would be addressing the concerns about the extinction probability in the marine spfishes. Expert observations had been provided for recommendations.

This had been established since a cooperative approach would be required for the protection of the endangered species along with reviewing status report as well as preparation for interventions. There would be continuous assessments of the jurisdictional data to obtain community knowledge and to have reliable resources about the status quo of the animals.
