Alternative splicing is the process of gene expression regulation where single gene can code for more than 1 protein. It is the process of creating protein diversity in variety of eukaryotes. .The first statement is false because RNA splicing might protein of similar or different sizes. The protein function of the protein generated from alternative splicing would be same or would be different.  

The second statement is false alternative splicing is the process of generation of many proteins from single mRNA not many mRNA.
