Select one:

a. Respiration will increase and the kidney will reabsorb acid into the blood

Homework Answers

Answer #1

B.Respiration will increase and the kidney will excrete acid

Acidosis is a increase level of acid in the body, which imbalances the body's pH. If the lungs and kidneys are unable to eliminate the excess acid, it causes severe health problems. It can be treated by lowering the acidity in the body.

when the acid level is more in the body the kidney will try to remove more acids into the urine and it will absorb more bicarbonate.

Acidosis causes hypo ventilation ( decreased ventilation) it causes increase in the concentration of CO2 and decrease in body ph. And increases respiration.
